    Rainbow Magicland

If your stay at Green Park Madama is longer than just a weekend, and above all if you are travelling in a family… you can’t miss a trip to the fun park in Rome: Rainbow MagicLand!

    Rainbow MagicLand
    Via della Pace, Valmontone Rome
    Tel: (0039) 06 9531 8700
    Opening 18 April 2014

Just 30 km from Tivoli and from Rome, the Rainbow MagicLand fun park is an amazing sight: spread over 60 hectares and situated around an enormous lake.
Magic is the general theme of the park and the mascot is Gattobaleno: a colourful chubby cat who accompanies you around the park.
And don’t expect just another fun park: we are talking about 36 attractions for all age levels, from children to adults, and several themed areas, such as the Winx, Monster Allergy and Huntik.
And lots of shows throughout the day: children will be transfixed by the feats of the stunt men or the Winx in Concert.

Among the best attractions, there are:

    • Shock, the flying mountains 750 metres long.
    • Cagliostro, a new concept in rollercoasters that is a massive success
    • Yucatan, water ride inspired by the adventures of Huntik.
    • Mystika, the thrill of free-falling from 70 metres up.
    • Le Rapide, a dinghy ride on wild waters.
    • Pianeta Winx: flying gondolas take their passengers on a brightly coloured journey through the fantastical scenery inspired by the world of Winx.
    • Il Regno dei Piccoli: Pop Pixie themed area devoted to the little ones, with classic attractions such as spinning teacups, bumper cars and the caterpillar ride.

And in order to rest up after all these rides and games.. lots of themed kiosks and 4 restaurants!
And, of course, souvenir shops in which to find something to remind you of your trip to Rome.

Suggestions for a fun day out at Rainbow MagicLand

To have the best possible day out, we have a few suggestions to help you reduce or eliminate the possibility of unforeseen problems and stress during your trip to Rainbow MagicLand (and any other fun park).

    1. Before buying your tickets, check on the internet for any special offers and discounts. For example, www.parchionline.it often has special discounts for tickets to Rainbow MagicLand. In the case of extreme bad weather, it is likely that some attractions will be closed, so keep an eye on the forecasts when organising your day out at the park.
    2. Where possible, choose to go to the park on a weekday: the park will be less crowded and the queues for the rides will be shorter or even non existent.
    3. The water attractions aren’t open all year round, so if they are a must for you, check on the website for opening times.
    4. Before going to the park, check the programme on the website for the shows you want to see and organise your day so that you get to the area where the show is held in good time for it starting.
    5. If you are thinking of going to the park on a busy day (holidays, bank holidays, etc.), try to get there a little while before opening. This will mean you avoid having to queue to get in and you will be able to head straight for the most popular attractions, which will be super-busy later in the day.
    6. In the first few hours after opening, the least crowded areas are those furthest from the entrance.
    7. If you have very small children (3-4 years), remember that most of the rides have a minimum height restriction of 95 cm; those without age or height restrictions are the carousel, the magic train and the floating island, whilst the play areas with soft play, slides etc. can be used from 3 years. You may find that the cost of the ticket is disproportionate to the number of attractions available for your children and end up disappointed.
    8. If you take drinks with you from home, they must not contain alcohol nor be in glass bottles.
